The Twist Rib Sweater is knit in 2x2 ribbing in one piece from the top down, has a mock turtle neck and uses the Contiguous Method, where increases are worked on the body first and then the sleeves.
Following the division for body and sleeves, the ribbing at the sides starts traveling towards the centre and then continues straight down. To finish off, the sleeves are knit, making the sweater completely seamless.

The sweater has a close fitting, and the traveling rib stitches gives a great illusion of waist. Please note that the seater is knitted with two strands of yarn held together.
In the pattern there are instructions for both a short sleeved and a long sleeved version.

If you buy the yarn kit, you will get the pattern for free. You get the discount by adding both yarn and pattern in the cart. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout.

Difficulty
Can be knitted by sligthly practised knitters. It is easy to knit and there are both written and video instructions for the techniques used in the pattern. The hardest part of the pattern is how the yoke is knitted (Contiguous Method), short rows and the Italien bind off (wich can be left out).

The sweaters on the pictures are knitted in the following colors:

Longsleeved, col. 146
Longsleeved, col. 850
Shortsleeved, col. 106

Recommended needles:
US size 4 (3,5 mm) and 6 (4 mm) circular needles  (80/100 cm / 32/42” wire)

Or whatever needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. If you are not using the Magic Loop technique, you will also need double-pointed needles in corresponding sizes.

Gauge:
22 sts / 27 rows in 2x2 ribbing on US 6 (4 mm) needles = 10x10cm.

You will be knitting with two strands held together.

Note that the gauge is after washing. The ribbing will grow quite a bit, so you need to wash your gauge swatch to be sure of achieving the correct gauge.
