The Twist Rib Sweater is knit in 2x2 ribbing in one piece from the top down, has a mock turtle neck and uses the Contiguous Method, where increases are worked on the body first and then the sleeves. Following the division for body and sleeves, the ribbing at the sides starts traveling towards the centre and then continues straight down. To finish off, the sleeves are knit, making the sweater completely seamless.
The sweater has a close fitting, and the traveling rib stitches gives a great illusion of waist. Please note that the seater is knitted with two strands of yarn held together. In the pattern there are instructions for both a short sleeved and a long sleeved version.
If you buy the yarn kit, you will get the pattern for free. You get the discount by adding both yarn and pattern in the cart. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout.
Difficulty Can be knitted by sligthly practised knitters. It is easy to knit and there are both written and video instructions for the techniques used in the pattern. The hardest part of the pattern is how the yoke is knitted (Contiguous Method), short rows and the Italien bind off (wich can be left out).
